Director
We are seeking a director to lead the team of 10 staff and 2 volunteers, drive strategic development and maintain organisational oversight, and raise grants for national and international programmes. In 2010, a new strategic plan is being developed, and this is an excellent opportunity for the right person to make a significant contribution to the direction of the organisation. The director will also maintain strong links with the international PAN centres and other relevant alliances and networks.
The successful candidate will have
- significant senior management experience ideally in a UK based NGO
- experience of managing, leading and motivating staff and volunteers
- proven success in fundraising from trusts and institutions
- excellent presentation and communication skills
- an understanding of issues related to pesticides and their effects on human health and the environment
- the right to work in the UK
Starting salary: £45,284
Based, Old Street, London, with some travel expected
