IT/website volunteer

Pesticide Action Network UK (PAN UK) works to promote healthy food, sustainable agriculture, and an environment which will provide food and meet public health needs without dependence on toxic pesticides. 

PAN UK is in the process of redesigning and updating its website. We have a vacancy for a volunteer to assist with updating, designing, writing, researching and creating new ideas for content and articles on the website. (depending on experience.)

Requirements:

Minimum commitment of 2 months,1-2 days a week (flexible, some working at home possible).

Excellent IT skills – knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash desirable
Good organisational and communication skills
Capable of working autonomously
Interest in sustainable development as well as sustainable and ethical living issues desirable

Training and Support:

Volunteer Induction
Ongoing support from the IT and Publications Manager
Ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to gain experience in IT and website design within an international NGO context
Contribution to lunches and to travel costs from within London provided.
