Linda Craig,

Linda Craig joined PAN UK as Director in 2006. An Information Scientist by background, Linda worked in the commercial sector, running information services and writing market reports on the mineral industries, and then the IT sector, before moving into management in the voluntary sector. She was Director of Information Services, then Co-Director, of the Institute for the Study of Drug Dependence, now Drugscope, and then spent 7 years as the General Secretary of Quaker Peace and Social Witness, the peacebuilding and social justice arm of the Society of Friends in Britain, with overall responsibility for 20 projects in the UK and 7 other countries.

Roslyn did a PhD at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London and subsequently carried out medical research at the University of California. In the late ‘90s she worked at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems in Santa Cruz, California, completing an organic farming apprenticeship and then carrying out research into nutrient management on organic farms. She joined PAN in June 2002. Her main responsibilities are coordination of the home and garden pesticide disposal project, and coordination of the community education project. Roslyn is also the editor of PAN UK's journal, Pesticides News.

Nick joined PAN UK in March 2007 as the UK and European Programme Coordinator. At university Nick studied environmental science focussing on hydrology, water quality and environmental hazards. Prior to joining PAN UK Nick spent six years working for the Environmental Investigation Agency as a campaigner, working on a diverse range of issues relating to investigating and exposing the illegal trade in endangered species.

Damien is the project officer responsible for PAN UKs Cotton Project. His work involves facilitating and coordinating with PAN's African partners on ongoing organic cotton and cotton and health projects, and developing a programme of work to raise public and business awareness of cotton and organic cotton issues in the UK. 

Eloïse Touni, International Project Officer

Eloise is of English / Greek background with a first degree in Earth Science and a Masters in Environmental Technology, specialising in contaminated land, risk assessment and pollution regulation. She has worked in the environment department of a London local authority on waste prevention projects and awareness raising, recycling and waste disposal legislation / policy and technologies and carried out project work in Mali and Senegal on waste / agricultural issues. She speaks English, Greek and French, and conversational Spanish. Her main area of work is the Africa Stockpiles project, ensuring that African NGOs participate in the disposal and prevention activities, and helping them use international conventions effectively in carrying out their work.

Stephanie trained as an ecologist and entomologist and has worked in environmental and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) training and educational activities, in the UK and abroad, since 1985. She has worked in over 17 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia, with four years spent in Nicaragua (where she also learnt how to pick coffee!) and has participated in numerous international conferences on IPM and farmer training. She served as a member of PAN UK's Board of Directors for two years whilst working at CABI Bioscience UK Centre, before joining PAN UK as a staff member in 2000. Her main area of work at PAN UK is on pesticide problems, IPM and alternatives, with an emphasis on Africa, as well as interests in Good Agricultural Practice and the implications of European pesticide legislation and market requirements for farmers in developing countries. Stephanie is currently studying for her Ph.D. with the Centre for Environment & Society, University of Essex.

Ed has a background in drama and music. He has been a drama teacher for adults with learning disabilities and previously worked at PAN UK as an Administration Assistant. Ed left in 2006 to become an Assistant Manager of a residential care home for the Westminster Society for Adults with Learning Disabilities. Now back at PAN UK he provides full administrative support for the organisation.
