House Flies: Least-Toxic Control

Physical Controls

Physical controls for house flies are focussed on preventing their entry to your house and removing food sources which will attract them

q       Eliminate potential food sources in the kitchen

q       Make sure rubbish bins have well-fitting lids

q       Bottles, tins etc should be rinsed before placing in the recycling bin. Smells from unrinsed bottles and tins can attract flies.
