Physical Control

q       Scales can be rubbed off by hand, using garden gloves, a soft toothbrush or alcohol-dipped cotton swab

Biological control

q       Application of Nematodes or Metaphycus, Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, Green lacewing. For optimum benefit, keep temperature at 21 C to 29 C and maintain moderate to high humidity.
