Blaenau Gwent

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council currently has no facilities for safe disposal of pesticide waste and recommends residents to return products to retailers or manufacturers. It is considering putting facilities in place. Call 01495 311556 for up-to-date information.


Bridgend

Bridgend County Borough Council currently has no facilities for safe disposal of pesticide waste. It has recently opened 3 new civic amenity sites and is considering providing such facilities. Call the Customer Helpline on 01656 643443, or alternatively call 01656 643643 to find out whether facilities are available yet.


Caerphilly

Caerphilly County Borough Council has facilities for safe disposal of pesticide waste at all six of their civic amenity sites. Contact the site attendant upon arrival.

Carmarthenshire County Council has facilities for safe disposal of pesticide waste at the sites listed below. Contact the person in charge of the site upon arrival.

Conwy County Borough Council has two civic amenity sites which can accept pesticide waste. Contact the site attendant upon arrival.

  2. Old Gofer Site, Rhuddlan Road, St. George, Abergele

Their clinical waste officer Mark Zaraschi (07733 012747) may also be able to arrange a collection however, in some circumstances the resident may be charged for collection.


Denbighshire

Denbighshire County Council currently has six Recycling Parks, all of which have facilities for accept pesticides and other household hazardous waste. Contact the site attendant upon arrival.

Pembrokeshire County Council currently has no facilities for disposal of pesticide waste but are working on this issue. They expect to put facilities in place at some of their civic amenity sites during 2006. Call the council to find out the current situation.
