Write to the Government to support the suspension of neonicotinoid pesticides PDF Print E-mail

Picture of pen and paper

Neonicotinoid pesticides have been linked to the massive declines in Bees and pollinators across the world. On 15 March EU countries will vote on a European Commission proposal to ban three neonicotinoids on plants that are attractive to bees and pollinators.
Write or email Owen Paterson the Secretary of State for the Environment and let him know you want the UK to support this proposal. We have drafted a sample letter you can use by downloading here, or you can write your own one.  Make sure you send a copy to your own MP and ask them to raise the issue with Owen Paterson too. You can find out who your MP is and how to contact them here: http://findyourmp.parliament.uk/
